Recipe - Cricket powder pesto

Add some cricket powder to your homemade pesto sauce and impress with a delicious yet healthy and protein-rich pasta meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup basil, packed
  • 1 cup arugula, packed
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cricket powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup almond meal

Instructions

  1. Add basil, arugula, lemon juice, water, and olive oil in a blender and mix for 5-10 seconds.
  2. Add garlic, salt, pepper, cricket powder and almond meal to the blender and blend until completely incorporated.
  3. Enjoy as a dip or add water to thin out into pasta sauce.
