Naak’s mission is to change the world by empowering people to eat healthier, more natural and more sustainable food.
The overconsumption of meat and agricultural overexploitation have become major global issues that put our future at stake. Our idea is to use edible insects to offer better food to everyone while having a minimal environment impact.
In May 2016, we created the Naak bar: one of the first energy bars made with cricket-powered. Result of the collaboration between the Chefs of a renowned Montreal restaurant, The Pastaga, and experts in sport nutrition, the Naak bar stands out with its unique taste and its exceptional nutritive values.
Over 4,000 Naak energy bars were consumed last summer by thousands of active people. Tens of professional athletes from Canada trusted us to fuel their daily trainings.
