WHAT IS YOUR BEST RACING MEMORY?
Racing in the last 30 miles of my 2013 Angeles Crest 100 Mile victory, I dug deep and kept fighting all the way to the finish against some amazing runners in my home mountains. I was leading early in the race, but developed breathing problems at mile 45 due to an allergic reaction to fire weed. I walked almost 20 miles until I got my lungs back and battled the 2nd place runner from mile 72-90 before pulling ahead and taking my 2nd win. The best part of the day was my Dad flying in from out of town and surprising me at the finish line just after midnight.
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU LIKE TO DO AFTER A RACE?
Put my legs up and meditate on relaxing and visualizing a successful race.
