WHAT MOTIVATES YOU EVERY DAY TO TRAIN?
My motivation is to become something bigger than myself, to push myself to be the best person I can be and support the development of Canadian athletes at all stages.
DO YOU HAVE A PERSON WHO INSPIRES YOU?
My mother! She competed in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games on the Australian handball team. I was 8 years old when my mother competed in Sydney, and I remember to this day, in awe, watching her compete. I completely fell in love with sports!

WHAT IS YOUR BEST RACING MEMORY?
My first triathlon when I was 12 years old. It only took one race for me to completely fall in love with the sport. I was not only drawn to the competition, but also to the lifestyle and friendly culture of the triathlon community. There was a supportive attitude between competitors and spectators that resonated with me.
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU LIKE TO DO AFTER A COMPETITION?
I like to explore the area that I'm in, whether it be on foot or by bike. It a great opportunity to soak in the surroundings and learn about the different places I travel to.
