“Know how to suffer but also how to enjoy yourself”

Originally from Switzerland, I’ve been a professional athlete since 2018. I have several disciplines; marathons, ski mountaineering, road running and, of course, trail running (my favorite!). 

Along with running, I also compete in ski mountaineering. My most significant accomplishments are 2nd overall in the Ski Mountaineering World Cup in 2014 and the Individual Vice-World Champion in 2017. I also won the famous Patrouille des Glaciers in 2014. 

I have 3 European Champion titles (2017, 2018 and 2019) and Vice-World Champion in trail running in 2018. I have won and set new records in two of the most prestigious Golden Trail World Series races; Sierre-Zinal and Pikes Peak Marathon. I am a 5-time Swiss champion (2013, 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019), and I also won the mythical Morat-Fribourg race in 2018. 

For my 2nd marathon, I was able to outdo myself and win the Zurich Marathon on April 22, 2018, with an incredible time of 2 h 31' 16'.

I made my big comeback in ski mountaineering by winning the Swiss Vertical Race Champion title in Veysonnaz. If you want to know more, click here

My goals with competing: get to the top of the Golden Trail World series, Zegama, Mont Blanc marathon, Sierre-Zinal, and European and World Championships of trail running.

In addition to being a high-level athlete, I am a mother of 2 young children who love to sweat and cook/eat desserts (especially chocolate!).

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU EVERY DAY TO TRAIN?

"Know how to suffer but also how to enjoy yourself" That's why I like the feeling of effort. I want to feel "fit", to be able to reach my goals.

DO YOU HAVE A PERSON WHO INSPIRES YOU?

I don't particularly have one, but I admire those who "last" over the years.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE NUTRITION TIP TO SHARE ?

Eating at regular times is very important, about every 30 minutes. This will allow you to digest properly while providing your body with the energy it needs to finish the race!

WHAT IS YOUR BEST RACING MEMORY?

It's hard to choose... I would say my first title of European champion. It was magic, because I didn't expect it at all! Moreover, it was the beginning of my great years.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU LIKE TO DO AFTER A COMPETITION?

Like all athletes, I love to treat myself to some delicious food.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC TO SURPASS YOURSELF IN TRAINING?

I don't have any particular music; I love to vary styles and artists.
