3% for the forests

Näak was founded on a mission to build the most sustainable fuel for outdoor athletes while preserving the outdoor playground. With the increasing global warming and deforestation initiatives that our planet faces, we feel that it's our job to stand for what we believe in and help preserve the nature around us. This is why we've partnered with the BC Parks Foundation to donate 3% for the Forests.

PRESERVE FORESTS

To honour our commitment to the community, we've partnered with the BC Parks Foundation to help protect our wild forests by donating 3% of the revenue from every Näak purchase made. Our goal is to donate $10,000 to preserve forests by the end of the year, and you can help.

Create new parks

To complete our goal in the next 7 months, 3% of every purchase made in British Columbia, or Alberta, will be used to protect wild forests and create new parks. With your help, we aim to always have a wild and free playground to access for us and all the generations to come.

Secure Habitats for animals and plants

The money raised by sales on all our products will be used to continue preserving forests, buying and maintaining parks, and securing habitats for numerous endangered species.

HELP US REACH OUR $10,000 DONATION GOAL

For every box of Energy Bars sold, $1.05 will be donated to BC Parks.
For every pouch of Protein Powder, $0.98 will be donated to BC Parks.

Expanding and enhancing park lands and infrastructure

A portion of the donation will be used towards preserving our forests, maintaining trails, and creating facilities so that humans and animals can coexist on the land.
New parks will be created and protected across BC; these parks are bought and preserved to prevent destruction of the area.
Many of our parks are home to rare and endangered plant species and a place of sanctuary for animals. [British Columbia is particularly important because it contains more than half of Canada’s species of vertebrates and vascular plants and three-quarters of Canada’s bird and mammal species]. A portion of the donation will be used to make sure their homes remain wild and beautiful Forever.
